From the Foundation.
Artists of Lion’s Main Art Collective construct a temporal dwelling exploring the concept of home. Created from fabric and wood, this space will transform with an accumulation of experiences, objects, and images collected from individuals of Seattle’s queer and trans community. Park goers are invited to write their thoughts surrounding home which will be incorporated into the structure. Participating artists are Markel Uriu, Emma Kates-Shaw, Sofya Belinskaya, KEM_C, Sequoia Day, and Jax Braun.
Location: Olympic Sculpture Park
in Partnership with Seattle Art Museum
The series is called Summer in the Park
Free and open to the public!
Dates: every Saturday 11 am - 1pm 7/15-8/19.
We will also be setting up for SAM Remix Friday august 11 8pm - 12am 21+
